September is just 2 weeks away, so we are trying to squeeze in as many summer activities as possible, even if the ‘Great British Summer’ is against us.

And although we are excited for warm wholesome meals spiced pumpkin everything, we want to fully embrace the last few weeks of sun with as many picnics as possible.

Beat the heat and cut the carbs with our traditional Bruschetta recipe! The combination of basil and tomatoes will have you begging for more and is a great alternative to sandwiches. Remember to pack your tomato mix and bread in separate lunch boxes to avoid a soggy mess.


There’s nothing worse than a warm salad that’s been sitting in your picnic hamper for hours in the heat… Tabbouleh, on the other hand, tastes better the longer it sits in its dressing. No limp lettuce, we promise. Just crisp parsley, zingy lemon juice and beautifully ripe tomatoes. Perfect.

When you’ve eaten healthy for mains, you can definitely treat yourself to these naughty rocky roads. Trust us, this one’s a show-stopper.
